Big Tree And History Tour Of New Castle County

Enjoy a tour of northern New Castle County to see some of the biggest trees of their kind in Delaware, and hear about local history at the properties we will visit. Learn the proper way to measure a “Champion” tree and walk some of the area’s most beautiful and historic sites. Your leaders are well-versed in nature and history so you will get the best of both worlds on this unique and interesting field trip. Receive a free copy of the book “The Big Trees of Delaware”. Led by Joe Sebastiani and Aaron Ferguson, Interpretive Manager at Auburn Heights Preserve.
