It’s back!
It’s been years since Krispy Kreme on Concord Pike turned out the Hot Light, but on July 1st at 6:00 it’s shining bright again.
The new location will be in New Castle at 114 N. DuPont Highway, in front of the New Castle Farmers Market. It’ll have a full-service 24 hour drive-thru with outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi. Look forward to more than 15 varieties of signature doughnuts, including the hot Original Glazed®, 6 kinds of fresh baked bagels, plus a complete menu of Krispy Kreme Chillers®, espresso beverages and Krispy Kreme Signature Coffee Blends.
Grand opening activities in the store: prizes given out at random throughout the day, including t-shirts and other Krispy Kreme merchandise.
AND:
- One free dozen Original Glazed® doughnuts every week for a year to the first customer in line.
- One free dozen Original Glazed® doughnuts every month for a year to the next 99 customers in line.
Prizes for the first 100 people in line are available only to fans 10 years of age and older.
I’m not going anywhere near there on opening day, but I look forward to seeing photos of diehard Krispy Kreme fans camping out and enjoying a fine dozen originals soon after.
