Mav, Dad and I saw Green Lantern in 3D at the theater on Sunday, when Mom and Cass saw Mr. Poppers Penguins. I went in knowing nothing about the story, or the character, except that he was one of those DC heroes.
Well, seeing the movie did NOT make me want to read any of his comics. First off, the guy playing the main guy (Ryan Reynolds) was so NOT tough, and him not being tough made me want to hurt him. Then the story made 0% sense. There was some good action scenes, but that was about it. The end was stupid too. But I’ll admit that a few parts in the beginning made me jump.
I’d say this movie gets a C-. If you like bad movies, see this movie. If you want to punish your kids, take them to see this movie. If you like predictable endings, see this movie.
