It used to be you had one shot to watch your favorite holiday specials each year. Watching them on network television was how I prepared for the season! To put it simply, spooky season didn’t start until The Great Pumpkin aired; Christmastime wasn’t a thing for me until the Grinch stole the roast beast.
Sure, it’s nice to have all these shows available all the time, to be able to pull up the Heat Miser and Jack Skellington on July 25th if you so please.
But there’s also something about must see TV: to mark your calendar (or TV Guide) and look forward to your favorite show airing.
Anyway, AppleTV+ acquired the Charlie Brown holiday specials a few years back, but you can still watch them without a subscription– on certain days.
🎃 “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will air on AppleTV+ for free on Saturday October 19th and Sunday October 20th.
🦃 “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will air Saturday November 23rd and Sunday November 24th.
🎄 “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be available Saturday December 14th and December 15th.
