Sprout, the 24-hour preschool network from NBCUniversal, has unveiled an exciting traveling exhibit tour, FLOOGAL YOUR WORLD! It’s coming to select cities across the country, including Philadelphia— the exhibit will be visiting the Please Touch Museum this weekend, April 23rd and 24th from 10am to 5pm.
The FLOOGAL YOUR WORLD tour is based on the Sprout’s latest original hit series FLOOGALS. If you’re not up to date on your kid TV, the show follows the adventures of tiny, curious aliens exploring the “hooman” world. Families entering the experience will feel like they’ve shrunk down to 4 inches tall, giving them the opportunity to explore and discover from the Floogal perspective.
(Aside: I love how this parallels aspects of Alice in Wonderland— if you’ve ever been to the Please Touch you know they have an amazing Wonderland exhibit.)
The FLOOGAL YOUR WORLD tour is complete with interactive areas emphasizing the tools the FLOOGALS characters use to explore and engage with the “hooman” world. Highlights include an interactive giant colorful xylophone, oversized puzzle, and a periscope to explore how everyday items look drastically different when you’re 4 inches small.
There will also be additional discovery activations and photo opportunities, including a take home mission book.
GET YOUR GPS READY: The Please Touch Museum is located in Fairmount Park at 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131. There is an adjacent parking lot.
You can buy tickets in advance on their website.
