Random little holidays. In-service days. It can be a serious pain when kids have a vacation day, but Mom and Dad don’t! Here are some fun options for Delaware camps when schools close for the day.
Too old for daycare, too young to stay home alone. Looking for something fun for your kids to do when they get a scheduled day off of school?
Here are a couple of options for no-school-today Delaware camps:
The Delaware Museum of Natural History
These camps run from 9am to 4pm, with extended morning or aftercare available for an extra fee. Kids ages 5 through 10 can hang out at the museum and participate in games, crafts and other activities (weather permitting, hot dogs may or may not be roasted over a campfire). $40 for members; $45 for non-members. Registration is open; the DMNH will also be offering camps for spring break so keep an eye out for that.
