movie magic

I’ve been blank for posts lately, so madre said do something on movies, so here ya go. Enjoy.

( I couldn’t think of ten movies so I chose 9. So what.)

Top *Nine* 80’s and 90’s Movies for Teens

Numbre 9-  The Three Amigos

Steve Martin is one of my favorite actors, and he plays his role in this movie really well. The whole plot is really funny and has lots of quotes that you’ll be saying for years.

Ned Nederlander: Sew, very old one! Sew like the wind!

Number 8- Tommy Boy

I like this movie because I really like the David Spade/Chris Farley duo. Whenever they’re in something together, it’s hilarious.

Numbre 7- Back to the Future

Numbre 6- Groundhog’s Day

Bill Murray. ‘Nuff said.

Numbre 5- What about Bob?

Bill Murray.

Numbre 4- Wayne’s World

I really just like this genre of stupid movies that are so lame that they’re funny.

Numbre 3- Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

Another stupid movie. Stupid, but funny.

Numbre 2- Mars Attacks!

This movie is so ridiculous that it is funny. I kinda like Lucas Haas because he was in one of My Chemical Romance’s music videos (Welcome to the Black Parade), and I’m a big fan of them. That’s not a very good reason to like Lucas Haas, but oh well.

ben affleckNumbre 1- Armageddon

Laugh at me. I don’t care.

This is the best movie I have ever seen.

NOTE FROM ROBIN: I think Armageddon is so ridiculous it’s funny. Especially the part where Bruce Willis tells Ben Affleck to take care of his daughter. Whoo-eee, that gets me laughing every time! (Seriously, I think this is one of the worst movies ever, the cheesy dialogue makes me want to stab forks in my eardrums. I want to disown Jacob for naming it his top pick, but everyone else in this house loves it.)

  1. I’m not sure if I’ve seen all these movies or not… I don’t recall Tommy Boy…

  2. Tommy Boy should definitely be in the Top 5. That is the funniest of Chris Farley and David Spade together. Fat Guy in a Little Coat? C’mon, that’s solid gold.

Encino Man and Son-in-Law. Pauly Shore had it goin’ on for a little while.

  3. Jake was afraid when the asteroid started groaning. Heh.
