In case you haven’t heard (yeah, right): there’s this exciting thing happening in the sky on August 21st. Also exciting: buy one Dairy Queen Blizzard, get one for 99 cents.
I know, it’s not strictly a BOGO deal— the second Blizzard is 99 cents, not free— but you try fitting all that into a headline.
Dairy Queen is celebrating the solar eclipse and making it a little bit easier to savor the last of summer with this deal, which starts August 21st and ends on September 3rd at participating locations.
I actually haven’t even been to Dairy Queen all summer, which is scandalous when I stop to think about it (I am somewhat lactose intolerant so I’m really picky about what dairy treats I’m willing to risk a hurty stomach for. DQ is on the short list). According to the press release that landed in my inbox, there is a new Blizzard flavor, the Triple Truffle Blizzard Treat, a “trio of smooth, rich fudge, peanut butter and caramel truffles blended with signature DQ classic vanilla soft serve.” It’s only available in stores until September 3rd, so let that be some extra incentive for you.
All Blizzard varieties are included with this offer; the 99 cent Blizzard has to be of equal or lesser value than the one you pay full price on.
