OK, here’s the deal: you can get tickets to Delaware’s very own 4 day music festival Firefly 2018 NOW. Or almost now.
A limited quantity of 2018 Firefly Music Festival weekend general admission passes will go on sale Thursday, August 24 at 10am Eastern. These presale passes will be $199 (plus fees) and that’s the lowest available price you’ll be able to purchase a 2018 Firefly weekend wristband.
HOWEVER, the lineup will not be announced until a later date. So you are taking a gamble, unless you’re into just BEING at an outdoor music festival and experiencing the AMAZING COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE that is live music, no matter the performer.
The mom and budget-minder-in-chief in me says ehhhhhhh… maybe wait. I might only want to be there one day (this was the case for me this year; but even then I never got there to see Dylan and Kesha).
The music lover and adventurous concert goer in me says that’s a GREAT FREAKING DEAL for 4 days of music and if you’re in the position to go then GO. It doesn’t even matter who is playing but they’ve done a pretty good job in the past and you’ll probably discover some new bands besides.
