Early morning fishing and dip-netting at Killens Pond are sure to be a blast. Come hook a big one! $2 per child.
Open to ages 15 and under. Meet at the Trap Pond boathouse for free fishing instruction and other activities from 8 to 9 a.m. The fishing tournament will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 11. Catch and release will be encouraged. Equipment will be provided, or bring your own.
Bring the whole family to experience catch-and-release fishing at Brandywine Creek. There will be a tutorial for those who are new to the sport of fishing. Supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own. Fishing licenses are required. Meet at Thompsons Bridge Parking lot. Pre-registration is encouraged. (Free)
