Test your skill at different nineteenth-century trades!
Terrific Trades will be a day of fun for the whole family, featuring demonstrations and hands-on activities. Families will be challenged to assemble a wooden bucket or roll a barrel through an obstacle course. Visitors will also be able to observe trained craftsmen demonstrating their trades, including metal-working, stone-cutting, glass-blowing, powder drying and sifting, blacksmithing, and rope-making.
Activities are included in general admission and free to members. Use Hagley’s main entrance off Route 141 in Wilmington, Delaware.
