Summer Vibes Fest

A multi-day festival highlighting the Southern Delaware beach culture and summer spirit through Skimboarding, Skateboarding, Stand Up Paddle, Music, and Art.
Thursday August 11th at 12pm
Rehoboth Am Skate Jam at Epworth Skate Park

This is an all amateur skate contest with street and bowl event.
Friday August 12th at 4pm
East of Maui SUP Sprint Challenge at North Beach
125 McKinley St. Dewey Beach, DE 19971
This is a 3 mile Stand Up Paddle race on the bay at the North Beach Bar/Beach club.
This event concludes with complimentary dinner buffet for Summer Vibes Event participants.
Saturday and Sunday August 13th & 14th at 9am
Zap Amateur World Championships of Skimboarding.
New Orleans St. Beach Dewey Beach, DE 19971
This is the main event of weekend and a contest that has been running for 34 years. It attracts over 100 of the top amateur skimboarders from around the world to compete in Dewey Beach’s famous shore break.
This year we are continuing our effort to build a beach festival around this contest with more entertainment happening on the sand such as performers, art, and kids activities. We will have artists doing board art, installations, and live painting. It is always a great scene for all ages!
