Stream Stewards Fall Watershed Clean-up at FSNHP

10/14/2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:05 pm

Free

Join The Nature Conservancy and First State National Historical Park for our Stream Stewards Fall Watershed Clean-up. Volunteers will help us protect natural resources by clearing trash and debris along the Brandywine Creek and its tributaries in the park. There will also be hands-on educational activities to learn about the watershed and stream habitat. This is a free, family-friendly event!

Participants will be provided with gloves, pickers and trash bags. Adults, families and groups are welcome! We will provide water and snacks. Please dress for the weather and wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and wet.

UPDATE (10/3/17): This event will now take place solely at the Rocky Run Trailhead which is located next to the Courtyard by Marriott, located near 355 Rocky Run Blvd, Wilmington, DE 19803. The hotel is located just off Concord Pike (Route 202), behind the TGI Fridays.

This event is held rain or shine! Please dress appropriately.
