Walk into the Past at the Newark China Clay Company Site
Join the Delaware State Park Time Travelers in an afternoon exploration of the ruins of the Newark China Clay Company Site at White Clay Creek State Park. State Parks archaeologist, John McCarthy, will lead a tour of this early 20th-century site and share the story of this rural industry that made use of the clay that gives White Clay Creek its name. Sturdy shoes are required, and space is limited, so advance registration no later than Wednesday, October 13th is required. Contact John at john.mccarthy@state.de.us for additional details or to register. Free
In addition, many venues do not project an end time for their events. In those cases, we selected our best guess, but the duration of your event may vary.
