Nemours Lures for Cures: Pokémon Go Fundraising Event

We do not want people going into the hospital for no reason and possibly putting immune deficient children at risk. This event is to establish and fund a staff-led lure program for the kids that will last long after the 30th and keep their health in safe hands while also donating to Child’s Life.

Mystic Delaware and Pokémon GO of Northern Delaware cordially invite you to join us for an all day event to bring some happiness to children who could use it the most. We’re banding together and bringing our lures with us! Tons of children are playing Pokémon GO from hospital beds, unable to go out and catch Pokémon as easily as we can.

For one day, we’re setting aside all team rivalries and raising money to benefit the children. PokéBall-shaped get well soon cards in each team color (and combinations) will be available for $1 to benefit the hospital for anyone to fill out with well wishes, tips, and tricks for the kiddos. It’s a donation color war! Even if you can’t make it, just send me a screenshot of your donation at the link above and I will make sure the corresponding pokeballs are counted towards your team and given to a child.

**Side Note: During my first phone call to the hospital, I overheard an employee say there were no board games around. We will also be running a toy drive for the children- NEW toys and board games are acceptable, however we regrettably CANNOT accept used items as per health concerns**

DONATIONS TO THE HOSPITAL WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGHOUT THIS EVENT! COSTUMES AND COSPLAY ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! (Appropriate costumes and cosplay only. Non-Pokémon outfits are encouraged as well!)
