IVA Student Showcase and Open Mic at World Cafe Live – Wilmington Upstairs

IVA gives private vocal training to promising singers looking to develop their authentic voice. She listens for a student’s unique talents and works to develop them through technique, expression, and artistic guidance. This evening will showcase her students in live performance as part of their performance development. Vocal styles include classical, crossover, musical theatre, jazz and pop. Her students come from a broad range of ages, from nine to into their 70s. There will be an open mic at the end of the performance for anyone who is interested in vocal lessons and would like to sing for her and the audience.

IVA’s students range from full-time professionals singing on Broadway and on national rock tours to students studying at top training programs such as Northwestern University, The New School and the Tisch School of the Arts. She also has younger students who attend Cab Calloway School of the Arts or as part of the arts programs at their own schools. Her students have been admitted to top training programs around the United States and perform in Classical, Music Theatre, and Popular venues. She also works with her students on their songwriting and has helped many students to release albums and perform their own original songs live.
