The Hockessin Art & Book Fair (HABF) showcases the work of local independent and self-published authors and artists. The family-friendly event also includes readings, cosplay opportunities, and more. The 2017 Honorary Chairs are author Sharon Huss Roat, author of the Young Adult novels Between the Notes and How to Disappear, and Lee Zimmerman The Puppet Guy. This event will take place on November 4 at the Hockessin Community Recreation Center located at the Hockessin PAL in Hockessin. Admission to this event is free to the public. The Hockessin Art & Book Fair a collaboration between New Castle County (Hockessin Community Recreation Center, the Art Studio, Hockessin Library), Hockessin Book Shelf, Center For The Creative Arts, The Written Remains Writers Guild, and All-Out Monster Revolt Magazine.
