Join Zach Elfers, Pure Land Permaculture and guests for a Wild Plant & Mushroom Walk on Sunday, October 8th from 1-4pm along the Alapocas – Woodlawn Wildlife Refuge corridor (stay tuned to the event page for exact meeting location announcement). We will explore the local woods, meeting plant and mushroom friends along the way, discussing their functions, uses, methods for ethical harvesting and propagation and more. We’ll also share tips for packing a good carry bag for walks in the woods.
Fee (due at the event): $10 per guest, children 12 & under free.
To sign up, private message Dela Perma or text 302 six nine zero 7859.
IMPORTANT: Terrain is moderate with some steep areas. MUST BRING HYDRATION and highly suggest bringing pocket snacks too for this 3-hour program. Wear protective shoeware, dress for ticks (stockings/long pants tucked in to socks, long sleeves, hat, bring a lint roller brush, first aid kit will be supplied by event hosts). Feel welcome to bring along nature guide books, harvesting knives for collecting specimens to ID and snacks to share with others.

In addition, many venues do not project an end time for their events. In those cases, we selected our best guess, but the duration of your event may vary.
