The Brandywine: An Artist’s Walk

Hike along the Brandywine River and learn about the art it inspired. Visit the stunning Summerville Manning Gallery, stroll through urban parklands founded by the Bancrofts who founded the Delaware Art Museum, through Alapocas Park, then on to visit the Howard Pyle Studios where the Brandywine School of Art was born! Enjoy wine and cheese on Sally’s lovely Victorian porch, then catch a shuttle back to your car. Walk is 3.5 miles. Led by Sally O’Byrner

Meets at the Montchanin Post Office lower parking lot.
