Book Bag Giveaway and Fireworks on the Riverfront

Book bag giveaway, food, games, rides, arts and face painting. The city will be giving away more than 1,000 free backpacks and school supplies.
Wilmington funk band The Souldaires will perform a Prince tribute at Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park starting at 5:15. John “Sax” Williams, The Sudden Impact Band, Stacia LaChole and Rick Starr and Mystique will also play.
