Blessing of the Animals

Traditional blessing of animals in celebration of St. Francis who is known as the patron saint of animals and the environment. Bring your dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and other special friends. Each pet will receive a blessing, a treat and a reminder to care for the earth.
Visit with Pet Valu pet store and Faithful Friends animal shelter who will be bringing adoptable pets. Faithful Friends also will be accepting donations for dry cat food (any brand), canned cat food (Friskies pate) and canned dog food (Pedigree or VeRUS).
Pets must be on leash, in carriers, cages, fish bowls or terrariums.
