The Cherry Crest Adventure Farm Summer Season begins Saturday, July 2nd, with over 50 farm fun activities, games and rides, including the popular Farm Ed and Farm Animal Centers with baby chicks hatchery and Goat Mountain.
This year’s maze is themed “Once Upon a Time,” inviting trekkers to step into the pages of a magical storybook and castle. Climbing Rapunzel’s hair, escaping the dark dungeon and zipping over the castle moat all lead to “The End”. . .and the way out.
Flee through the Quick Escape Door, or face the ultimate challenge by finding 15 hidden puzzle pieces that complete a map.
Don’t miss the new “MAD-gical Lib”, that lets you create your own mixed-up fairy tale from snippets of the most famous characters and plots.
There’s so much fun stuff to do. There are several new games this year: Barnyard Ga Ga (a 24’ octagon for Dodge Ball), the strength-testing Post Pounder, a giant Game Station, Corn Hole and Poly Pong (a 4-person Ping Pong game with fun variations). Our favorites last year were the Giant Slinger, the Giant Hay Chute Slide, and the ginormous Jumping Pillows. We didn’t even make it to the Pedal Cart Track, an oversight we’ll have to remedy this year.
There’s Corny, Cherry Crest’s mascot, plus tasty new additions like the Cider Donut Shop (whoop WHOOP!), Chuck Wagon Cafe, Barnyard Food Corral, and the School House Sweet Shop: the new home to Lancaster’s Best Fudge. That’s in addition to the Food Corrals in the Courtyard and Barnyard for burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and wraps, garden and fruit salads, funnel cakes, hand-dipped ice cream and snow ice, and Cherry Crest Kettle Corn. There’s also food and seating inside the maze for break-taking.
Whatever you do, don’t skip the farm’s fresh roasted sweet corn. Mmmmm. Roasted sweet corn.

Admission:
All-day Amazing Fun Pass (includes 50+ Farm Fun activities in the Maze, Barnyard and Courtyard plus free parking and free photo souvenir) $15 for all ages 3 and up. Children age 2 and under admitted free of charge. Flashlight Mazes are $10 all ages 3 and up. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.
Open weather permitting. Last entrance to the maze is 90 minutes prior to closing.
