Apple Camp is a FREE three-day workshop where kids ages 8 to 12 “bring their imaginations to life.”

This summer, they’ll have two options: learn to make movies in Stories in Motion or create interactive books (complete with their own illustrations and sound effects) in Interactive Storytelling.

  • Stories in Motion: Campers will learn everything they need to create their own movies. They’ll storyboard ideas, shoot video, create an original soundtrack in GarageBand on an iPad, and then edit it all together in iMovie on a Mac.
  • Interactive Storytelling: Campers will create their own interactive books. They’ll draw illustrations using an iPad, then add sound effects and Multi-Touch features using iBooks Author on a Mac.

First come, first serve, so think quick and sign up ASAP at your nearest campsite! One workshop per child. Locally, Apple Camp takes place at the Apple Store in Christiana Mall.

Campers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for each workshop. Campers must bring along a signed Camp Permission Statement (found on the website) and a copy of their registration confirmation to attend.
