Knock two all-important bucket list items off in one day: ziplining and beer festival!
The first Zip + Sip Craft Beer Festival takes place May 28th from noon to 6pm at Lums Pond State Park. You don’t HAVE to zipline to attend, but like a post-5K beer the spoils will taste so much sweeter. The Zip + Sip is open to anyone 21+ with valid ID, and free designated driver tickets are available.
Rain or shine; show your ticket at the entrance to waive the park entrance fee; beer fest ticket is nonrefundable.
Here’s how it works:
Buy an event ticket online for $37.92 ($35 + processing fee). With that you get:
- 12 Tickets, each one good for a 4oz sample of beer or 1/2oz sample of distilled alcohol (limit 5)
- 16oz Collectible Zip + Sip Glass
- Zip + Sip Punchcard (Fill out to enter to win an exclusive Cabela’s Prize Pack)
- FREE Zip + Sip T-Shirt for the first 150 registered.
If you want to kick off your day zipping through GoApe’s Treetop Adventure— AND YOU SHOULD— there will be limited spaces available and you MUST complete the course prior to entering the beer fest. DON’T GO TO THE FESTIVAL FIRST, NO ONE will be permitted on the zip lining course after entering the beer festival or if they have consumed alcohol. Trust me, this is a good rule to have in place.
After you buy your beer fest ticket you’ll get a confirmation e-mail with a 15% off GoApe discount code. You’ll then need to register for ziplining on GoApe.com; make sure to sign up for a time slot before 1pm so you have time to beer before the festival closes.
