Did you know you could see any performance of Opera Philadelphia’s 2024-2025 season for only $11?!

It’s called the Pick Your Price initiative, a pioneering ticket program that is bringing opera to everyone at an affordable price point. It allows people to see an opera for the first time, to take risks on shows they haven’t seen or heard of before, or to bring their kids and inspire a new generation of theater goers, without straining their budget.

While every seat to every show begins at $11, you do have the option to select different amounts, including the usual ticket price.

Obviously everyone is encouraged to pay what they can, as every extra dollar helps to make opera financially accessible in the future.

Subscription and membership packages still exist and allow for first pick at seats. There are also still group prices and $2 tickets for low-income households or households with disabilities.

Can’t make any of these shows? You can take in a Metropolitan Opera performance, filmed live for the big screen, at a theater near you– but certainly not for only $11!

The productions in the 2024-2025 season are:

September 25, 27, and 29, 2024
Missy Mazzoli and Royce Vavrek’s The Listeners

January 31 and February 2, 2025
Joseph Bologne’s The Anonymous Lover

April 25 and 27, May 2 and 4, 2025
Mozart’s Don Giovanni
