Poetry in the Mansion: Beat Poets Cafe

The “Beat” movement in poetry and prose made a powerful impact on late 20th century literature, and influences writers to this day. Poet in Residence David P. Kozinski will read outstanding examples from the Beat era, with reflections on these featured poets’ writings and biographies. In addition, Kozinski and guest poets Phil Linz and Sophia Chen will read some of their own works. Open mic to follow and coffee and tea will be served. $12, $10 NCC residents, $2 Art-Reach Member; FREE for RPPS Members. Ages 16-adults.
