Everyone’s favorite comfort food gets its own holiday on July 14th! Start National Mac and Cheese Day off right with a free Mac & Cheese Bagel at Einstein Bros: here’s how.
So National Mac and Cheese Day is a thing, and a very good thing at that. I make a very mean baked mac & cheese using whatever cheeses we have in the fridge (our record is a 12 cheese mac & cheese).
The Mac & Cheese Bagel at Einstein Bros.® Bagels is made with Annie’s® Homegrown macaroni and cheese baked directly into the dough, and it is delightful. But think quick: it’s only available until August 29th!
Here’s the details on their freshly baked deal:
Guests who visit Einstein Bros. Bagels on Saturday July 14th, 2018, and are members of the company’s Shmear Society rewards program, will receive a FREE Mac & Cheese Bagel with purchase.
(Please note the qualifiers in italics.)
If you’re not already a member of Einstein Bros. Bagels’ rewards program, you can sign up at www.shmearsociety.com by July 13th to receive your free Mac & Cheese Bagel with purchase on National Mac and Cheese Day. If it’s already past that date as you’re reading this, go ahead and sign up. They run promos like this pretty frequently!
Might I suggest trying the Mac & Cheese Bagel with one of their two limited-time sandwiches:
- the Cheesy Mac Lunch with ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo, or
- the Cheesy Mac Breakfast with thick-cut bacon, cage-free eggs and cheddar cheese.
Our nearest Einstein Bros. is a bit of a hike— a little over half an hour for us to get to Silverside Road in north Wilmington— and we tend to stop there or at Johnny’s Dog House to self-treat after a trip to the doctor’s or dentist’s office (I have three kids, remember, so this is not all that uncommon of an occurrence). It’s ALWAYS good. I get something different every time and I’ve never been disappointed.
For more information and locations, check out the Einstein Bros. website. (I’m looking now and realizing there’s a location on Academy Street in Newark that I’ve never noticed? Is it in a food hall? I need to investigate!)
