Once I was at Harrah’s for no reason. I was in a dinner. There was string tied around burgers. The burgers were very weird. But I took one anyway.
I had so much food. I ate a lot of food. Except my burger.
I thought about what to eat after my meal at the strange dinner. But I couldn’t see from where I was sitting, so I had to see when I got over to the desserts.
When I got over to the desserts, there was so many choices. There were brownies and cupcakes and cookies. “Mom,I choose brownie” I said. When I was eating it, it got all over my face.
They were tasty. I will want to make these at home.
We got to stay at Harrah’s and we got to go to the pool too. It was great.
Note From Robin:
It’s funny to see what parts of a vacation really stick out for your kids. For Cassie, the horseradish on her “burger” (roast beef sandwich on a crusty roll) was worth noting, and of course the deliciously decadent brownies.
They loved the comfy round booths at The Steakhouse at Harrah’s Atlantic City, and we all ate like it was going out of style. The desserts in particular were so good-looking it was hard to choose what to take 🙂
This post is part of an ongoing series about our blogger trip to Atlantic City. Harrah’s provided our room for the night and hosted a lunch, all opinions are our own.
Love that the kids write their own version of their vacation.
I love this! My parents saved stories like this in a file cabinet for me and it’s so fun to go back over them. I guess blogs are the new file cabinets 😉
