A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.
I know, you mom so hard. I’m right there with you. Today I hung three loads of laundry to dry (because our dryer broke, so we bought a new one, and as it turns out the electric is bad so we probably threw out a perfectly good dryer…). I practiced parallel parking with my student driver for an hour. I took my picky picky picky 13 year old daughter shopping for shoes after picking her up at soccer practice. Forget a glass of wine, I was ready for an AWARD.
I digress.
Sometimes moms deserve a night out, to maybe pregame with some adult beverages and then see a movie that’s most assuredly not rated G and appropriate for all ages. I can help you with that.
On Monday October 30th at 7:30pm, United Artists Riverview (that’s the one on Columbus Blvd in Philly) is holding an early screening of A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS.
