Kidchella Music Festival

June 21st, 4 to 9pm at Smith Memorial Playground. Art stations, giveaways, pre-show activities, concert, fireworks. Pre-registration required.

Hispanic Fiesta

June 22nd and 23rd at the John F. Kennedy Bridge at 20th & John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Food market, vendors, music, Well-being on Wheels presented by Independence Blue Cross (free health screenings, wellness information, etc).

The Sounds of Philadelphia
and a Tribute to Gamble, Huff and Bell

June 28th 5 to 9pm at the Dell Music Center. Hosted and curated by Philadelphia music legend Dyana Williams, this celebration will feature multiple different expressions of black music as well as food, cocktails and fireworks.

Avenue of the Arts Block Party

June 29th 11am to 7pm with music on the Kimmel Center’s Plaza stage, PNC Arts Alive stage, and PA Lottery Groove Stage. Snap a photo in NBC’s The Voice coach’s chair • local artisans and locally sourced foods • Avenue of Amusement: nostalgic carnival games and entertainment • free show from Philly Fashion Week • beer garden • Avenue of the Barks: dog wading pools, dog-friendly games, vendors etc • Kimmel Center’s FREE Party on the Plaza: patriotic performance by The Philadelphia Orchestra at noon (free, but tickets are required), Seeing Eye® puppies, Hamiltunes sing-along, Q&A and meet-and-greet with the Grinch (from Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Gospel On Independence
featuring Tamela Mann

7pm on the lawn of Independence National Historical Park. Performance by the Welcome America Mass Choir under the direction of Austin Woodlin and Zak Williams, debuting Created 4 This dance ensemble and 215 Gospel performers, and a performance by Grammy-Award winning gospel singer Tamela Mann. Free; seats are first come first serve, BYO chair/blanket.

The United States Army Field Band
featuring LeAnn Rimes

July 3rd 7pm at Independence National Historical Park. Bring a chair or blanket.
