Two more September Sunday mornings to see the Brandywine River Museum for free, from 9:30- noon.
The Brandywine River Museum is on Rt 1 in PA and permanently houses an extensive Wyeth collection. A new exhibit just opened on September 11th (running through November 18th) titled “Reality Check: Contemporary American Trompe l’Oeil.”
While taking the kids to see Wyeth is more of a cultural thing (if you live in this area you really should be familiar with the Wyeths), the Trompe l’Oeil exhibit sounds like something kids will definitely be able to get into! Encourage them to create their own “fool the eye” masterpieces afterwards.
