The Melting Pot has been on our top five list of favorite restaurants for over 20 years; we’ve eaten there dozens of times and I love trying new items on the menu. This week, from April 23rd through the 29th, they’re running an awesome Fondue and a Movie special: sit down for a four course meal (cheese, salad, “Titanic” entrée and chocolate) and you’ll also receive an unrestricted movie pass to Regal Cinema for $43.99. You can use the ticket that night as a full date night or girls’ night out, or hang onto it to use some other time.
The menu choices are Oscar worthy.

I always get the house salad. The dressing is soooo good.
Titanic Entrée
- Premium filet mignon, Pacific white shrimp, teriyaki-marinated sirloin, all-natural breast of chicken, and wild mushroom sacchetti served with fresh veggies and sauces.
Yum.
The Grand Finale
You get to choose any of the chocolate fondues. I always want the Yin and Yang (white chocolate and milk chocolate) but am usually overruled with the Cookies and Cream Marshmallow Dream because you can’t compete with marshmallows on fire. I then console myself with the yin and yang martini.
There will also be movie inspired feature cocktails to choose from: Pineapple Express, Spider-Manhattan, Shrek’s On The Beach, Rum-Dog Millionaire, Captain Morgan Freeman, 50 Shades of Grey Goose Martini, Gin Diesel.

While this deal has a limited, mostly set menu, I just want to mention that gluten free and vegetarian options are generally available and the staff has always been incredibly accommodating at making substitutions for me (the entrée I usually choose includes seafood, which I swap out for chicken).
