Second Saturday at Mt. Cuba

Mt. Cuba Center participates in the Hockessin Business Association’s Second Saturday events by offering special programming on the second Saturday of each month, April through October. Enjoy family-friendly activities, themed garden walks and take home your own free native plant. All activities are included with admission.
The Mama Mia food truck is on-site with food available for purchase from 11 am – 2 pm.
August 13th: Pollinator Paradise
What’s the buzz? Pollinators! Late summer blooms attract and support a variety of pollinators. Find out which flowers attract which pollinator friends, and how home gardens support the food web.
September 10th: Gardening with Birds
Gardens are for the birds! Learn how to plant a garden that supports birds, and how birds help spread seeds.
October 8th: Autumn Trees
Look up and discover the painted canopy of autumn leaves. Enjoy a fun activity with leaf art and learn the basics of tree pruning.
