Save The Valley Music Fest

09/09/2016 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

$15

The fourth annual Save The Valley Music Fest will take place on September 9th at World Cafe Live at the Queen, in Wilmington. Save the Valley is partnering up with Gable Music Ventures after a successful event in 2015. This year the event will showcase 6 bands – 3 of which are local high school bands that fought for their place on the stage at a sold-out event in April of this year (the High School Rock Fest). Maryland based blues singer and saxophonist Vanessa Collier is bringing her full band back to perform in the wake of an extremely buzzed about main stage performance at The Ladybug Festival. Wilmington’s own Island/Folk/Bluesy hybrid trio The Splashing Pearls will do a rare performance as the local headliner. The event headliner is Bronze Radio Return, an American indie/roots rock sextet from Hartford, Connecticut.

Tickets: $15 in advance, $18 at the door

ABOUT SAVE THE VALLEY
Our mission is to protect and preserve the remaining open spaces in Beaver Valley that are located along the Brandywine River in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Save the Valley is an entirely volunteer run grassroots organization that facilitates public education by bringing awareness regarding the risk and impacts of development on these special places.

We are a group of local, action-oriented citizens who share a common love for Beaver Valley and aim to preserve it for future generations. We believe that Beaver Valley is an irreplaceable piece of land, rich in heritage and beauty amongst a backdrop of urban sprawl. The fields and forests of this land offer a unique opportunity to escape from the confines of the city and allow individuals to connect with nature.
