Newark Family Fun Night

Hosted by Newark’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Games and activities at Handloff Park! The Newark Police Department will have a bicycle rodeo for children* and a free car seat safety check. Other activities, including pony rides, face painting and a small train will be available for a small fee. Food vendors (Roaming Raven, Duck Donuts and Dino’s Ice Cream) will be on site; families are also encouraged to bring a picnic to celebrate National Picnic Month.

*For the bicycle rodeo: kids should bring their bike and helmet for an obstacle course that promotes good cycling skills, including turns, stops, hand signals, etc. Some bikes will be available to borrow.
