What is the Great Pumpkin Debate?

The Great Pumpkin Debate comes from a humble beginning. It started as an enthusiastic conversation among the staff at Peco’s Liquors. They were debating the simple question: “which pumpkin beer is best?!” The question became more and more complex the further along the argument (I mean conversation) got. With all the different choices, styles, and opinions it was getting more and more difficult to simply say which one was best.

There was only one thing to do, and that was to blind taste every single pumpkin beer we carried side by side and vote for our favorites. Since its inception, the Great Pumpkin Debate has grown from a friendly debate among our staff to include customers, and community members. This year we are growing the debate again! The 2016 debate with be held at the beautiful Bellevue Park. Enjoy a Hayride, Bonfire, and of course pumpkin beer! Vote for your favorite and help us crown the best Pumpkin Beer of 2016! Proceeds from the 2016 Great Pumpkin Debate benefit Delaware Humane Association.
