Sunday, October 6: Woven Words

An early celebration of Indigenous People’s Day (Monday, October 14) with storytellers, artists, and performers—from Philadelphia and beyond—who represent Indigenous traditions from across the Americas. Registration opens Thursday, October 3, at 10am.

Sunday, November 3: All About Love

Highlighting the work of artist Mickalene Thomas, whose vivid, spectacularly staged artworks offer an empowered vision of Black femininity and beauty. The Philadelphia Jazz Tap Ensemble will present two performances honoring great women in jazz. Registration opens Thursday, October 31, at 10am.

Sunday, December 1: Reflections

Along with art making, storytime, and our signature Barnes scavenger hunt, this month’s event features special performances by Philly’s beloved dance troupe PHILADANCO. Registration opens Thursday, November 28, at 10am.
