Ford DSFL FREE hands-on clinics help teen drivers improve their driving skills in four key areas that are critical factors in more than 60% of vehicle crashes, including: Hazard Recognition, Vehicle Handling and Speed and Space Management. There also is a comprehensive section on Distracted and Impaired Driving.
This half-day course is intended for teen drivers to practice these skills in a safe, controlled environment with professional instructors (who are also racecar drivers) sitting right next to them. This clinic is the next step beyond traditional driver education courses and a valuable next step in the learning process.
In order to attend a Ford DSFL hands-on clinic, participants must have either their permit or driver’s license. Vehicles will be provided to use during the event. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend the clinic and learn alongside the new drivers. There will also be an information session for parents.
