DHA Cat and Dog Adoption Event / PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend

DHA will be participating in the next PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend by holding a Cat & Dog Adoption Event at PetSmart in Brandywine Town Center, Wilmington, DE! Stop by to meet some of our adorable, adoptable pets… who knows, you might just make a friend for life!
CATS/KITTENS
Saturday, September 17 10 AM – 8 PM
Sunday, September 18 10 AM – 3 PM
DOGS
Saturday, September 17 11 AM – 2 PM
All DHA animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs 6 months of age and older are tested for heartworm, and all cats are tested for FIV/FeLV.
Same day adoptions of cats and dogs are available for qualified applicants. Applicants wishing to complete their adoption at the store should provide proof of address, proof of home ownership or written permission from their landlord, and proof of current vaccinations and spaying/neutering of their current pets, if applicable. All principal family members should be present at the time of adoption.
*For same-day dog adoptions, current resident dogs should also come by to meet potential new family members!*
