tacos
The first Delaware Taco Festival takes place on Saturday, June 25th. There will be, of course, tacos. There will also be lots more: get all the details.

If you live in Delaware and love tacos it really seems unlikely you haven’t already heard about the Delaware Taco Festival; I’ve probably had twenty people tell me about it. People are excited about their tacos. But, just in case:

tacos

Delaware’s first taco festival takes place on Saturday, June 25th from 11-6 at Frawley Stadium. There will be, of course, tacos, from area restaurants and food trucks. There will be tequila tastings and a margarita beach bar. There will be mariachi bands, hot chili pepper eating contests, and carnival games. There will be live music and radio hosts and cooking demonstrations.

But mostly, there will be tacos. All day long.

Early bird tickets are now on sale, saving you five dollars off the final price. The $35 silver option gets you noon entry with access to the chili pepper contest and live entertainment, 6 full size tacos/samples (unlimited $2 tacos after), a free beverage (alcoholic or no), a grab bag with $100+ in coupons and gift certificates, and a commemorative keepsake. The $55 gold option gets you in an hour earlier with an upgrade to 8 taco samples and a tshirt, in addition to the perks included in the silver ticket.

Kids 6 and under are admitted free. And parking is free.

I highly suggest joining the event FB page for updates as they arrive!
